Equal Opportunity Cell(EOC):

The Equal Opportunity Cell is dedicated to empowering stakeholders from vulnerable sections, including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Minorities, Women and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). It actively promotes their participation in all aspects of college life, such as academics, intellectual pursuits, social interactions, and cultural activities.

Through sustained efforts, the EOC strives to create an inclusive environment where all students and staff members can engage equally. The college remains committed to ensuring equal opportunities for every student and staff member, fostering their holistic development.

Objectives:

• The objective of this centre is also to provide guidance, counselling, and support in academic, financial, and social matters to vulnerable sections.
• It aims to create a socially congenial atmosphere for interaction and promote healthy relationships among students and staff from diverse backgrounds.
• It addresses the grievances of the weaker section of society, disseminates information about welfare schemes, and establishes coordination with other organizations to mobilize resources for assisting vulnerable sections.
• The centre also seeks to sensitize the academic community about social exclusion and the aspirations of marginalized communities.

Advisory Committee Members:

In accordance with the university/UGC norms, following advisory committee for Equal Opportunity Cell has been formed.

Students and staff members can approach the Equal Opportunity Cell for the redressal of any academic, administrative, or social grievances. The Member Secretary will meet the concerned individuals, understand their problems, and take necessary action and/or offer appropriate advice or assistance to resolve the matter.
