JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bangalore is one of the few institutions under VTU, Belagavi, selected to offer four years duration B.Sc. (Honours) Programme. The approved intake for the course is 60. The course has been designed to envision the aspirations of New Education Policy 2020 for holistic multidisciplinary education. The curriculum is based on CBCS and semester system. The curriculum has been designed to offer Science Subjects with industry based skill subjects. The curriculum also offers host of subjects from Computer Science, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Civil Engineering and subjects from emerging fields like AI, IOT, Robotics and Machine Learning, Cyber Security and Data Science. For holistic development of students, the provision has been made to study Ability Enhancement Courses to learn Management, IPR, Social Science, Commerce, and Banking. The course is equipped with research project and internship in the area of specialization in third and fourth year of the course. Students graduating from B. Sc (Honours) have opportunity for placements and higher education. All the faculty members teaching B.Sc.(Honours) programme are post doctorate from the university of repute. Faculty members are diversely engaged to their research and development and publishing the research articles in National and International journal of high impact factor. In both theory and practical classes, students are given individual attention. Faculty members increase healthy interaction with students in both academic and personal matters, which leads to excellent academic performance of the students. Fourth semester onwards, student have the option to choose the specialization for their honours in any one of three discipline of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The graduate will have strong fundamental to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) or Master of Science (M.Sc) from National and International University of repute. A conducive atmosphere is practiced to enable the students to avail and reap maximum benefit of the resources and pool of amenities at their dispense.
