Message :<\/span><\/h3>\n

Academic activities in an educational institute encompass, but not limited to, curriculum design, planning, implementing and monitoring. The emphasis is on quality of teaching-learning, continuous evaluation and end of semester \/ year results.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Teaching has been my passion in spite of choosing this profession by force. Five years of my industrial experience before embracing this profession has helped me a lot to groom my students to the requirements of the professional world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The responsibilities, as Dean \u2013 Academics, bestowed on me are:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Support, supervise and evaluate all the departments in a manner that promotes academic ambiance in the institution.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Coordinate in curriculum development for the Institute.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of institute\u2019s Vision and Mission.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To ensure adherence to ordinances as approved by JSSMVP, UGC, AICTE and VTU.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Ensure that the OBE is practiced by all the departments, academic audits are conducted regularly and prepare action plans thereon.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To monitor the progress of the students, with the help of HODs, in terms of results and other criteria.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Assist the Head of Institution in evaluating the performance of faculty members.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Provide recommendations to the Principal regarding sabbatical and other leaves for faculty members.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Assist the Principal in the process of faculty and staff selection and retention.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Supervise the admission process of students at Institute level.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Supervise the IA Tests and University examinations.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Issue necessary directions for implementation of the ordinances and other decisions; Plan for expansion of academic programmers.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Get the quality of the question papers assessed by the external peers \/ experts<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
