Techno cultural fest:
Institution has been organizing every year techno cultural fest-VERVE from past several years. This fest is one of the top rated events amongst engineering colleges in Bengaluru region. Around 50 numbers of events are being conducted, which includes both technical and cultural. Students from different institutions, mostly from engineering colleges are taking part in the competitions. Table below shows the details of the verve fest conducted in the last three years

The Verve 2016 was inaugurated on 21st April 2016 at 6.00 PM by the dignitaries Mr. Praveer Nijagal, Director, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Bengaluru and Mr. Sanchari Vijay, Film & Drama Artist (National Award Winner for Best Actor). Day-2 started with events like Mr. & Miss. JSSATE, E-summit, was organized for the very first time in the most awaited Techno-Cultural fest of Bengaluru. Day-3 started in the early morning with a run for a cause (organ donation) with a lot of excitement, enthusiasm and social responsibility. The Guests included our honorable Principal Dr. Mrityunjaya V Latte, Rotary Nagarbhavi President Mr. SheetalKumar ,Industrialist and Sandalwood Actress Apoorva Gowda and in evening a concert was presented by the famous singer Fahran Akhtar with a lot of crowd around 10-15 thousand people liked by everyone.
Report on Verve 2015:
The inauguration of VERVE’15 was held at 6:00 PM on 23rd April 2015, Padmashree awardee Dr. S K Shivakumar, Retd. Director, ISRO Satellite Centre, Bengaluru was the chief guest. Dr. Puthuraya, Eminent Educationalist and Dr. B T Nijuguna, Professor Emeritus were the guests of honour. Day-2, a few events such as Raag, Bike stunt, Solo dance, Mr & Miss JSSATE, Fashion show, etc. drew a huge competition and a few judges drawn from outside were Rojger & William (Wester& Eastern), Ritz Gautham & Navneet (Fashion show). Day-3 began with a crowd puller event ‘Dirt Rally’ followed by other events such as MAD ADS, Street Play, Tug of war, etc. A live in concert by Ms. Neeti Mohan, Emerging Bollywood singer gave an enthralling performance for around 2 Hours non-stop. The event was witnessed by around 2000 people.
Report on Verve 2014:
The inauguration of VERVE’14 was held at 6:00 pm on 24th April 2014 by the chief guest Dr. Bharath Chandra. Day-2 of the fest started with one of the most important events of the college that takes place every year, Mr & Miss JSSATE at 10:00 am. This event was judged by Mouzin Khan, Eastern dance and Western dance which was judged by Dilip Raj, Shruthi Rao and TilakSirsi. The toppers of all programs are felicitated with certificates and mementoes. The most anticipated event the fashion show took place at 8:25 pm judged by one of the most popular and upcoming television actors Mr. Jayaram Karthik along with Rupal and Geetha, the second day ended with DJ night at 10:30 pm. Wrapping up the fest was the most highlighting feature of the fest, concert by Mr Benny Dayal. Hit songs like Badtameez Dil, Kaise Mujhe etc. were performed which the crowd thoroughly enjoyed. Around 5,000 thousand young students witnessed the concert on the last day.
